I’m Sri Kirthi, an engineer who likes working where hardware, software, and curiosity overlap.
I’m Sri Kirthi Kandala, an engineer working on the hardware and measurement systems behind magnetic resonance imaging. My research focuses on MRI radio-frequency coil design, wireless impedance matching, and RF and microwave circuits that remain precise when the physical conditions around them change.
My work moves from electromagnetic concepts and circuit design to fabricated coils, high-frequency instrumentation, and the experiments that reveal how a system behaves in the real world. I’m interested in the details that make technical work dependable: stable matching, repeatable measurements, readable interfaces, and hardware that can be understood and improved.
Alongside research, I build practical tools for the bench, explore embedded systems, and enjoy the problem-solving culture of amateur radio. This site is a working record of those projects, papers, experiments, and notes.
